Integration of ESG aspects into strategy, business processes and reporting

Dr. Sebastian Reich is advising German and international enterprises and organisations since 1993 on the effective and efficient integration of the relevant ESG aspects in their respective business model, its value chain and organisation in the frame of asset management, corporate development, in M&A activities and in real estate transactions. As a natural scientist with business management education, prior to his self-employment he had been a management member of the international engineering and environmental consulting companies URS and ARCADIS, responsible for transaction services, sustainability services, for business development & innovation, and for the real estate sector.

He is a co-author of the Sustainability Codex of the German Real Estate Industry, Chairman of the Real Estate Committee of the German Sustainable Building Council, and is engaged in the Desertec Foundation.

Sustainability from the view of the owners, investors and the financing service sector.

Since 1999, Franz Knecht is consulting Swiss and international enterprises in the financial sector and industry, as well as public institutions and NGOs, on the areas of economical relevance of sustainability for their strategy and product development, management systems, ethical investments, M&As, stakeholder dialogue and integrated reporting.

Franz Knecht has been a member of various brain trusts, so for instance for the European Union, UNEP FI, VfU, IPCC, GRI and WBCSD. He is a lawyer and prior to his self-employment had worked for SMEs and in banking, where as a management member he engaged in the concretisation and integration of sustainability aspects in the financial sector. During this period, pioneer work in the fields of in-house ecology, environmental credit risk, ethical investment products, Investment Banking as well as in reporting was achieved.

Sustainability in the construction and real estate industry, effects of construction products in the sustainable building

As a civil engineer, Christian Donath gained practical experience of more than eight years in the domestic and international construction industry. From 2008 to 2010, he was the managing director of the German Sustainable Building Council and in this function significantly involved in the development and implementation of the German DGNB Certification System and the associated training of auditors, and he was appointed to the Chairmanship of the World Green Building Council.

Since 2010, Christian Donath has been active as a corporate consultant in the real estate and building materials industries. The focus of his work is advising the manufacturing industry on all topics of sustainability in an international context. His engagement for the harmonisation of product standards in the European market resulted in June 2013 in the launching of the ECO Platform AISBL, for which he has since been the Managing Director.

Here, expert target group concepts with a focus on tender business as well as the integration of a sustainability benefit argumentation into the existing chains of communication are part of his activities.

Ingo Schwarz disposes of a creative network with multiple award-winning teams, such as the BOB Award, Best of Business to Business of the Association of Communication for integrated concepts, etc.
